Pork Hushpuppies

  • 1 lb. Extra Sweet Hushpuppy Mix
  • 8 oz. smoked pork, shredded
  • 4 Tbsp jalapeno, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce 
  • 6 oz. water
  1. Stir hushpuppy mix, water, and hot sauce together.
  2. Fold in barbecue and jalapeno. Let sit for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Shape batter in small balls, about 1 tablespoon each.
  4. Deep fry at 350F for 1 ½ – 2 minutes.
